2.  Tea bags - Dont throw them in the bin, they are bio-degradable in most cases so throw them on the unused part of your back garden to rot away into compost!  One it helps save then environment but two the more things you recycle the more change the local council will eventually charge you less for rubbish collections!

3.  Get energy saving lights, you would be surprised at the ammount of energy they save you in the long run,  its may not seem a lot now but  it will in the future!

4.  Unplug your electrical appliances after use.  The reasons for this is as follows.  One they are less of a health risk and less likely to cause fires, but two even though they are still switched off they still draw in energy when they are plugged in to keep the internal memory alive!  This includes things like your tv, washing machine, dishwasher,  computer!

5.  Find yourself buying drinks for work and school?  Consider the average bottle of coke is £1, and you buy them say for instance 300 out of the 365 days in the average year, well thats £3000 in 10 years!!!!  Thats your childs 18th birthday present sorted if you spend that much or paying off your mortgage!!  Think about it!

6.  Got spare change in your pockets?  Get a jar and everyday you get home put your spare change in the jar.  You would be suprised at the amount you save every month not spending it on rubbish!

7.  Dont clean off all the food stuff on your plates if you have a dishwasher!  For instant leave some sauces or gravy on the plates as it contains starch that breaks away the suds from the dishwasher tablets and stops it foaming up!

8.  If you have energy saving mode on appliances such as phones and computers use it!  Again it saves the pennies!
